As part of our mission at Elementary #1, each program is designed to integrate all facets of the learning experience of children. We strive to deliver a balanced curriculum with a focus on 21st century skills, emotional and social growth, and academic achievement. We promote diversity and citizenship by teaching students to recognize individual differences and encouraging them to take responsibility for their actions

Message Regarding School Lunch and Breakfast
Good Evening this is Middle Township Public schools with a message concerning the breakfast and lunch program at your child’s school. Every student is eligible to receive a breakfast and lunch free of charge whether attending school in person or remotely. Students attending school on A or B days will receive their meals in school for that particular day. A & B day students, your remote day meals will be distributed Wednesday September 9th from 4 to 6 pm at Elementary #2 Cafeteria.
For students that are on full time remote instruction, please call Dawn DeCamillo at 609-465-1827 x2159 to arrange pick up of your meals at Elementary #2 during normal school hours. You will be given your weekly allotment at that pickup.
If your child attends the full day MASK program, please inform the director that you wish to receive breakfast and/or lunch on the days that your student is attending the program.
Even though your student is receiving free meals, it is important for you to send in the completed Free/Reduced Meal application. Statement from Superintendent Dr. David Salvo:
On behalf of the Middle Township School District, we express our sincere condolences to the family of Mr. George Floyd. As a nation, we strive to seek justice in a peaceful manner. Martin Luther King Jr. once stated, “Violence brings only temporary victories; violence, by creating many more social problems than it solves, never brings permanent peace.”
We are committed to providing a safe and supportive school environment in which our students understand that their lives and voices are valued, regardless of race, ethnicity or gender. Above all, we respect and support each other.
We all need to have courageous conversations that promote and enhance equality in our community. As Winston Churchill said, “Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.”
