Middle School Mathematics Curriculum

Middle School Math students participate in the Math Connects Program. Glencoe’s Math Connects is based on researched best practices, was developed by experienced classroom teachers and correlates to the NCTM standards.  The program seeks to reach all learners by providing opportunities for differentiation of  instruction and assignments to help teachers instruct the best way possible for all learners. This program offers teachers a “balance” of conceptual understanding, skills practice, and problem-solving experiences along with meaningful direct instruction and practice. Hands-on experiences and explorations can be used to to help students practice, apply, connect, and extend their understandings.
