Middle Township Elementary #1 is a PreK to 2 nd grade building which houses approximately 690 students. Our students are placed in heterogeneously grouped classrooms with an average class size of 20 students. We offer a half-day PreK program and a full-day kindergarten program.

Elementary #1 believes that every individual has a right to learn in an environment that is safe and fair. We stress acceptance of differences; we emphasize cooperation with and respect for others; and we encourage a sense of commitment toward the larger community. We believe in the potential of every individual and hope to nurture well-rounded, self-respecting, caring and sensitive children.

The school day begins at 8:40 and ends at 3:15 p.m. All students must arrive prior t 8:55 or they will be marked tardy.
